These shutters were installed in a holiday apartment in St Ives, Cornwall.
The client was anxious to provide a good degree of blackout from the adjacent street lights at night whilst also providing a stylish solution and sound insulation from noisy revellers passing by at night… The apartment is right next to a busy pavement!
The shutters delivered on all fronts… Looking great but functions very well on all practical levels, too.
Flat rebated slats add a level of blackout to the room and give a very contemporary aesthetic.
