Any national can sell you shutters, but West Country Shutters were the only ones who gave us design advice - and that, along with the great personal service, makes all the difference. When we decided to have our loft conversion extended, we knew straight away that we would want West Country Shutters to install the shutters. We already had experience of their excellent work in 2017, with shutters installed in all of our downstairs windows.Again, we discussed our requirements with Duncan,who is very easy to talk to. He made very useful suggestions and spent a lot of time talking through everything.with us.The installation has now been completed successfully by Duncan and Steve and we are absolutely delighted with the end result. We are especially pleased with the 3 folding doors leading from the bedroom into the en-suite. This was Duncan's suggestion and we are thankful that we listened to him.All in all we feel that we have paid a fair price for a lovely product and for an excellent service. Have had 3 windows done in my Victorian home with West Country Shutters and I cannot fully express how pleased we are with the result. 12 ( Yes, twelve) years since we had our shutters installed we had our first failure. A pin snapped on one of the blades. Sent a message to Duncan on the Monday, received some spare pins the next day and fitted it myself in 5 minutes. Shutters back to how they worked 12 years ago. Faultless service from WCS.

Great shutters in my house: six sets. The consultation visit was excellent. Some good ideas discussed, colours tried, and advice shared. Good communication between the initial visit and shutters being fitted: this was important to me, as was having a local 'Somerset' team do the work. Duncan and John were a great team on the day of fitting: efficient, practiced and passionate about the quality. Lots of attention to detail. Professional and fun to have running the project. Perfect and I'm well happy with the results. Highly recommended.
